Breakfast and departure to Teide National Park for a walk and ride on the cable car. Includes lunch at a local restaurant to try out “papas arrugadas”, “gofio” and “ropa vieja” among other dishes.Return to hotel after lunch.Free afternoon to enjoy the hotel or a walk around Puerto de la Cruz (optional visits to Lagos Martínez, the Botanical Gardens and Loro Parque).Dinner at the hotel.

In the morning, we will go on a complete visit around the city led by a local guide. The city's history spans nearly one thousand years and has borne witness to many significant events, from the legendary Vikings, Edvard Munch's paintings, the sculptures of Gustav Vigeland and over 100 Nobel Peace prizes.Among other sites, we will visit the City Hall, the outside of the Akershus fortress, the Royal Palace, Karl Johan Street and the Cathedral.

We will arrive at the city and take a guided tour around El Palmeral de Elche. It is an historical date palm forest, the biggest in Europe with over 200,000 trees. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000 and is representative of a unique Islamic farming system (8th-9th centuries), designed as an oasis for crops.

The day starts off at the Sant Josep Caves, the main natural attraction of Vall d’Uixó, a spectacular cave system with one of the longest navigable underground rivers in Europe.Guided tour in boat (approx. 40-45 mins.). On the way we will see galleries with unique karstic formations and enjoy a trip into the bowels of the Earth.After the caves, we will take a stroll around the historical centre of La Vall d’Uixó. We will follow the Camí de l’Aigua route with its aqueducts and visit the Muslim district.

On arriving, we will visit the historical centre, the Nuestra Señora del Consuelo church and we will walk up to the magnificent viewpoints.After strolling around the beautiful streets of Altea, we will head off to Guadalest and stroll around the streets before going up to San José Castle. The next stop will be a lunch featuring the typical dish par excellence in the area, “Olleta de Blat” It is a hearty stew, typical of the mountain regions, combining ground wheat with pulses, vegetables and pork.To round off the trip, we will visit the Fuentes del Algar.

LOOKING OUT TO SEAA local guide will accompany us around the historical centre of Alicante, the iconic Barrio de Santa Cruz, and of course the Santa Bárbara castle, the huge medieval fortress overlooking the city, from where we will be able to enjoy some spectacular 360º panoramic views. From there, we will move on to Tabarca, the smallest inhabited island in Spain, where we will visit its small fishing town and enjoy a typical meal featuring local cuisine, made from seafood and Alicante market garden produce.

AUTUMN IN CANAL DE NAVARRÉSA route around the streets in the historical centre of Bolbaite will eventually lead us to the castle. Cabanyelles Castle / Palace, is a true Almohad gem, standing since the 12th century, with Gothic and Renaissance features, and today it bears living witness of our history and the power of the former Kingdom of Valencia during the so called “Valencian Golden Age”. After enjoying the local cuisine, we will move on to one of the natural gems of the Region of Valencia: Anna Lake and its autumnal landscape, a true gift for the senses.
