VALENCIA - VALDERROBLES - CALACEITE – ARNES – CRETAS – BECEITE - FUENTESPALDA - LA FRESNEDA
Day 1: Valencia - Matarraña
Departure at the scheduled time to Matarraña, known as the “Aragonese Tuscany”, where we will discover true artistic and natural gems, and the villages that still conserve their medieval or Renaissance spirit, that will transport us back in time when we stroll around them.
Arrival at hotel and lunch.
At the agreed time we will visit Valderrobles. Its monumental castle and Santa María la Mayor Church are a part of the beautiful Gothic works in the Aragon region.
We will go into the historical centre over the medieval bridge, to see the Plaza Mayor, Town Hall and several palatial houses.
Return to hotel, dinner and accommodation.
Day 2: Calaceite - Arnes- Cretas FB
Breakfast and departure to Calaceite, a beautiful urban ensemble featuring picturesque streets, manor houses, plazas, archways, a spectacular Renaissance Town Hall and Baroque church.
We then continue on to Arnes, declared a National Site of Cultural Interest for its historical ensemble, highlighting the Renaissance Town Hall, Santa Magdalena church, the historical centres with its archways and urban and natural heritage in the area of Ports Nature Reserve.
Return to hotel for lunch.
At the agreed time in the afternoon, we will visit Cretas, a charming village whose Gothic legacy takes us back in time.
Among the architectural gems are the majestic Asunción Church, the quaint San Antonio de Padua chapel, the imposing Turull House and the evocative San Roque Portal.
Return to hotel, dinner and accommodation.
Day 3: Matarraña - Beceite - Fuentespalda FB
After breakfast we will head off towards Beceite. On arriving at the village, we will see the spectacular stone bridge over the River Matarraña, dating back to the 16th century.
We will enter the village via its narrow, labyrinthine streets leading to the nerve centre of the village with its manor houses, medieval portals, Town Hall and San Bartolomé church dating back to the 18th century.
The main tourist attractions are the paper mills, some edifices that were paper factories in Beceite, conferring importance to the village.
We will then continue our route to Fuentespalda, a small village that still conserves the rural charm of the region.
We will see the most emblematic sites of the small village, visiting the San Salvador church in Plaza de España, a 14th century Gothic building with a magnificent Baroque organ.
Standing close to the church is the Town Hall, a 16th century building with an austere façade, but surprising interior with an important Gothic carving of St. Michael, one of the most important in Teruel province.
While wandering around the historical centre, we will also be able to see different 17th and 18th century manor houses, with their huge wooden doors and noble coats of arms on the façades, and some Middle Age fountains, such as the Vila fountain.
Return to hotel, dinner and accommodation.
Day 4: La Fresneda - Valencia
Breakfast and journey to La Fresneda, a beautiful village with its well-conserved urban ensemble, featuring the Plaza Mayor, the aristocratic Town Hall, the Encomienda Palace, the Convent and the remains of its former castle.
We will take a journey into the past along its cobbled streets.
On completing the visit, we will return to the hotel for lunch, and head back to Valencia at the agreed time.

Xàtiva
We start out visit in the Historical Centre, with its cobbled streets, plazas and traditional architecture. A lot of the streets are decorated with lights and festive ambience at Christmas, making it perfect for strolling around and taking lots of photos.We will go to Albereda Jaume I, where the Monumental Nativity Scene of Xàtiva is assembled, one of the biggest in Spain, with life-size figures and scenes that we can walk through and contemplate the details. The Traditional Nativity Scene and the Hebrew Nativity Scene are close together and can optionally be visited in San Francesc church.We will walk around the Christmas Market and Fair near the Nativity Scene.
