Consum's Sustainability Policy
Sustainability in Consum arises from its cooperative values - values closely linked to sustainable development, i.e., the balance between economic growth, people's well-being and the preservation of the environment.

-
Integrating stakeholder expectations into the Cooperative's strategy, thus creating long-term shared value.
Consum implements the Sustainability Policy in management through its Sustainability Strategies. The new strategy has been developed as a result of the cooperative's most ambitious participatory process to date, involving the collaboration of all stakeholders.
The 2021-2025 Sustainability Strategy integrates the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the Cooperative's sustainability objectives, thus contributing to the achievement of these global goals via the development of an ambitious company-specific strategy, committed to redoubling the efforts made to achieve them. It is composed of ten strands of action, based on the values of the cooperative movement and united by a single purpose: to make your shopping more sustainable.
Non-Financial Information Report
Consum prepares its Non-Financial Information Report (NFIR) annually in compliance with Law 11/2018 and as part of its commitment to integrating sustainability within its management model. This document sets out the performance of the Cooperative in key areas such as sustainability, environmental impact, human rights, social responsibility and good governance.
The 2025 NFIR also includes the sustainability information prepared by the Cooperative in accordance with the European CSRD Directive. Both this information and the NFIR have been verified by AENOR CONFÍA S.A.U.
