The visit is a route along the River Algar (meaning “cave” in Arabic) to see the limestone landscape: the spectacular waterfalls, the many natural springs bubbling out of the rocks, the “tolls” (pools) where we can bathe in the cool, crystal-clear water, considered to be a “source of health”, the old dam, the impressive canal and the centuries old irrigation channels.
