LOOKING OUT TO SEA

A local guide will accompany us around the historical centre of Alicante, the iconic Barrio de Santa Cruz, and of course the Santa Bárbara castle, the huge medieval fortress overlooking the city, from where we will be able to enjoy some spectacular 360º panoramic views. From there, we will move on to Tabarca, the smallest inhabited island in Spain, where we will visit its small fishing town and enjoy a typical meal featuring local cuisine, made from seafood and Alicante market garden produce.

VALENCIA - ALICANTE - TABARCA

Departure from Valencia (Pantera Rosa and Nuevo Centro) to Alicante.

On arrival, we will take a guided tour around the city with a local guide, where we will see the historical centre, the iconic Barrio de Santa Cruz, and of course the highlight of the trip with a visit to Santa Bárbara castle.

After leaving the castle, we will head to the port to set off towards Tabarca island, the smallest inhabited island in Spain. At the island we will be able to admire the views and the crystal clear waters that are so characteristic of the island.

We will then have lunch to try out the local cuisine, based on seafood and local Alicante.

Peñíscola

UNDER CHRISTMAS LIGHTSThanks to how well it is conserved and maintained, the narrow streets and walls surrounding the historical centre have been the setting for many films. The monumental Papa Luna Castle stands on the cliff face, a medieval fortress with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea, which Benedict XIII lived in the 15th century, making it one of the only three Holy Sees in the world. After visiting the castle, we will be able to try some traditional cuisine from Castellón. At night, we will see the Christmas lights which give a magical air to Peñíscola.
