UNDER CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
Thanks to how well it is conserved and maintained, the narrow streets and walls surrounding the historical centre have been the setting for many films. The monumental Papa Luna Castle stands on the cliff face, a medieval fortress with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea, which Benedict XIII lived in the 15th century, making it one of the only three Holy Sees in the world. After visiting the castle, we will be able to try some traditional cuisine from Castellón. At night, we will see the Christmas lights which give a magical air to Peñíscola.
VALENCIA - PEÑÍSCOLA
Departure from Valencia (Pantera Rosa and Nuevo Centro) to Peñíscola.

On arriving at Peñíscola, we will meet a local guide who will show us around the cobbled streets in this historical Mediterranean town. We will find out about its wealth of history, the secrets behind its walls and the details that are hidden within the Papa Luna castle, from where we will get some amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea.

On ending the visit, we will have lunch in a local restaurant to try the traditional cuisine of Castellón, which, as is the case with all Mediterranean cuisine, is based on rice, seafood and market garden produce.

Afterwards, making the most of the early nightfall, we will be able to enjoy the lighting up of the Christmas lights that give Peñíscola a magical spirit at this time of year.

At the agreed time we will return to Valencia.
