We’re going to tell you how our opening 2026 Vivir & Viajar trip to Otos and Albaida went.
The Ruta de Otos on 11th April was incredible, the travellers were very happy with it.
We set off from Pantera Rosa and Novotel at Nuevo Centro at 09:00 hours. We gave out information on the bus about the day’s schedule and when we arrived, we went to Otos Palace where the agency organisers gave out some traditional “cocas”, Mistela and water. At 11:00 hours Tino our guide came, who took us on the trip around the Palace and the Sun Dials Route, which lasted through to around 14:00 hours.
At 14:00 hours we had lunch at Ca Les Senyoretes, where we were served a menu (cod dumplings, Valencian salad made from local produce, cheese and cold meats, “arroz al horno” (baked rice) was the main course and for dessert we could choose from tiramisu, cheese or chocolate mousse, carob mousse which was very popular, and egg custard).
In the evening, we went to Albaida, to the José Segrelles Museum, which they enjoyed enormously. At 17:45 hours we returned to Valencia.
On the bus ride home, we were given some traditional “rollitos de anis” (aniseed rolls) by the agency.
We had such a good time
