For one week the town of Alcoy dresses in traditional attire, reconstructing scenes of daily life in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Processions, historical reconstructions, traditional dances and performances around the streets will surprise us along with its modernist market featuring craftwork and antiques which will be sure to catch our eye. Furthermore, we will be able to try typical Alcoy and Sierra de Mariola mountain cuisine, such as a paella with broad beans or Pericana spread.

Peñíscola
UNDER CHRISTMAS LIGHTSThanks to how well it is conserved and maintained, the narrow streets and walls surrounding the historical centre have been the setting for many films. The monumental Papa Luna Castle stands on the cliff face, a medieval fortress with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea, which Benedict XIII lived in the 15th century, making it one of the only three Holy Sees in the world. After visiting the castle, we will be able to try some traditional cuisine from Castellón. At night, we will see the Christmas lights which give a magical air to Peñíscola.
