OUR PROPOSAL
- Red wines from cold areas such as Galicia, Asturias, Basque Country or Navarra. These are relatively unknown to many, yet they have a distinctive personality. Made from local grape varieties, they embrace the freshness of their regions. They are direct, with a breath of sea air.
- Now it’s time for the youngest wines from areas such as Rioja or Ribera. Once overshadowed by lengthy ageing processes, these wines now prove that a great wine can shine from a young age. They are abundant in fruit, with Tempranillo and Garnacha joined by crunchy and smooth Mazuelos and Gracianos.
- Rosé wines are always linked to these warm seasons, but let’s not settled for the obvious. We are currently experiencing one of the best periods for rosé wines in Spain. Many wineries have embraced what might be the most challenging production for winemakers. And they are succeeding, with wines of quality and character.
- The pét-nat wines have become the latest trend in the world of wine following in the wake of natural wines. These are slightly sparkling natural wines.
The term pét-nat refers to the style and manner in which these wines have been produced – it’s always time to uncork the bubbles!
- The Nat Cool movement is a project conceived by Dirk Niepoort, the fifth generation of the Niepoort family, whose winery is considered one of the top producers of Port wines. Nat Cool aims to showcase natural wines from around the world made with local grapes, featuring low alcohol content and easy drinkability. The guiding principles are: less is more – authentic, organic, and fresh.
Freshness, lightness, high acidity and lower alcohol content, are some of the tips we give you today for a successful barbecue. Choose wines that can adapt to cooler temperatures to counteract the summer heat. Opt for fun wines that break traditional ideals, connecting with people in a simple way and enjoying a good glass, no matter the occasion or company.
