Jesús Olmedo (Seville, 1973) is one of the best-known faces on Spanish television. An actor with over twenty-five years of experience, he has made his mark on the small screen through memorable roles. He has appeared in other well-known series and has also ventured into film and music.
Here are his ‘top five’:

COFFEE
I’m a real coffee lover, and for me the day doesn’t start until I’ve had my first cup. It’s that moment that gets me going, almost like a ritual. I like to enjoy it calmly, freshly made. That morning aroma is irreplaceable.

BREAD
An absolute must for me. I’m the kind of person who eats bread anytime, anywhere. A sandwich with quality ingredients or bread with tasty fillings is always something I enjoy and can make any meal work.

CEREAL
It’s usually my go-to snack. A bowl of wholegrain cereals, granola or flakes with oat or almond milk gives me energy without feeling heavy. It’s an easy way to look after myself and have something that sits well in the mid-afternoon.

FRUIT
Especially banana. I feel like having them at any time, but after training is usually when I eat them the most. It’s a natural way to regain energy, and on top of that, I love the taste. I always have some in the house.

SWEETS
They’ve become my kryptonite, and I must admit they’re always in my shopping basket. They’re little treats I allow myself, and, to put it poetically, they sweeten my life. In this case, quite literally. Although I should also mention that I try to be very moderate with how much I eat.
