The most important thing is to act as soon as possible, and ensure that the stain does not spread to the rest of the garment. Therefore, if you have just got a stain, use absorbent paper and press on the ink stain.

You should know that when you clean an ink stain, the effectiveness will depend on two things: how long it has been since the garment was stained and what type of fabric it is.

• Milk: this trick is one of the most popular. To remove the ink stain, use warm milk, and let it work for several hours. It can be used on delicate garments as it is one of the least aggressive tricks.
• Hair spray: apply the spray directly to the stain and let it work. Use a brush to rub it and remove it.
• Alcohol: to use this remedy, make sure the fabric is not going to be damaged. Just add a few drops to the stain and rub it with a clean cloth.  
• There are other very efficient products that help to clean this type of stains better like detergent enhancers. Use them in your washing machines if they are very loaded, or the clothes are very dirty. They allow you to rub and remove stains easily. Or you can apply a few drops of scented ammonia to act on the stain directly and quickly.
