Andreas Muñoz is an actor with an extensive and diverse career in film, television, and theatre. He began his professional career very young, making his debut at the age of nine with Guillermo del Toro. He portrayed Jerónimo Gamboa, a camera assistant with his own storyline in the series, in La Promesa and appeared in other productions such as Desaparecidos, Mar de plástico, Cuéntame cómo pasó, and Los protegidos. In addition to his acting career, Andreas has a solid background in dramatic arts and music. He also plays several musical instruments and combines his work with other artistic disciplines.

Here are his "top five":

OLIVE OIL

Olive oil is the go-to item in my kitchen. I start most mornings with crunchy toast topped with avocado and a nice splash of extra virgin olive oil. I use it as a dressing, in cooking, or to add the finishing touch to a dish. Not one drop is wasted in my house. If necessary, I use a piece of bread to mop it up from the plate! It's considered liquid gold in Spain and is in all our dishes.

FREE-RANGE EGGS

Spanish omelette is my signature dish. I'm a bit of a foodie, and I make an amazing Spanish omelette. To keep me going through the day, I have a couple of soft-boiled eggs for breakfast (my favorite), and, if there are any eggs left, I make a nice French omelette with ham for dinner!

RICE

In my house, rice means paella. I love to cook a nice little paella on Sundays and enjoy it with the family. My family would always take us to Valencia for our summer holidays and I grew up eating and cooking paella. Rice gives me a lot of energy and is something that reminds me of the Mediterranean traditions of my homeland.

SALMON

The best salmon I've ever tasted in my life was caught fresh, in Finland. I enjoy it in a thousand different ways: as sushi, grilled with a pinch of salt, or baked. It's a great source of omega-3 and keeps you healthy and ready to roll!

BANANAS

Bananas from the Canary Islands are my natural fuel. Sweet and practical, I remember I'd alway eat one before going swimming when I was little. They also remind me of how important it is to promote the healthy, nutritious foods we have here in Spain.
