Cuttlefish

The cuttlefish is a cephalopod mollusc belonging to the Sepiida family. Its body is flattened and oval in shape. It has an internal calcareous shell, completely surrounded on the outside by its flesh, which is known as the cuttlebone.

Its arms are distributed in four pairs around its mouth and have numerous suction cups on their interior.

The last pair, longer than the others, serve to capture prey, since they are entirely retractable and have endings covered in suckers.
