If there is a beauty trend that has really caught on in recent years and which is in constant evolution, it has to be the manicure cult, otherwise known as Nail Art.
Colours, full of complements and accessories, long, very long, short, pointed or rounded, nails are taking on an increasingly more important role in fashion, and are a direct complement to bear in mind when thinking about our style and the look we choose.
What is nail art?

Until a few years ago, nail art was only used for shaping nails, but with the growing trend in this evolution it currently consists of practically converting our nails into a canvas. We no longer just play with colours, but also shapes, patterns and the materials we choose. Some nails today are true works of art.
So much so is the case that with each change of design between 21 and 28 days, we often use thematic designs on them depending on events or even the time of year, as is the case of Halloween.
Halloween nail designs
For these hair-raising celebrations that are just around the corner, we will be using very dark colours, but with thematic Halloween designs such as:
Pumpkin nails
These are perhaps the easiest if we do our manicure at home. We use orange nail varnish to paint our nails and then using a narrow stick we can dip it into the different colours and draw the face of a pumpkin. To make it even easier, we can paint all our nails black except for one, which we paint orange with the pumpkin.

Skull nails
In this case, we will paint our nails matte white and then we paint the black eyes, nose and mouth of a skull.

Spiderweb nails
This type of design is more versatile and we can use different colours such as red or gold. We can paint the spider's web on the whole nail or just the upper or lower part. We can do it on all our nails or on just some of them.

Monster nails
The first thing we need to choose is the type of monster we want to paint and then try to do it, but a very simple idea is to paint your nails green and then paint Frankenstein type faces on them in black and white.

Manicures for men
More and more men decide to look after their hands and go to beauty parlours for a manicure.
More daring men even add a little colour, but so far the trend is still to have short square nails with rounded-off edges and nails in dark colour tones, from black to navy blue, and all shades of grey. Some even decide on nail art, although they keep to very minimal patterns and designs.
