Tips for smelling good all day long

In summer it is only normal for our bodies to give off some odour because of sweating in higher temperatures. Nobody can avoid it! We therefore recommend the following tips to smell good all day long.

Look after your diet

Although it might sound odd, our diet affects our body odour. Some of the foods that most affect it are as follows: onion, garlic, curry, hot spices, red meat, seafood, refined sugar and alcoholic beverages. These foods can make our body build up more toxins, and they are often harder to get rid of through our sweat glands.

One of the many benefits of water is that it helps us to release toxins, and consequently the bad smells. According to experts, the trick is to drink two litres of water a day. This is especially important in summer!

Create several layers of perfume

Body hygiene is very important, particularly during the summer, which is why deodorant, deodorising wipes and wet wipes can be a great help during that time of year, and they will also make us feel fresher. Creating several layers of perfume on your skin will help to smell good for longer. Some of them are: cologne or perfume, body mist, body cream, body oil and even  dry shampoo, since it not only gets rid of grease from our scalp, but it also makes our hair smell good for longer.

Perfume your clothes

In order to smell good, it is important to make sure our clothes are clean and perfumed. Apart from washing and airing them well, using an odour eliminator is a good tip to smell good when our clothes lose their smell. Another trick to always smell good is to dilute a few drops of our favourite perfume in the ironing water or spray a little on our clothes in the drawers or wardrobe.
