The heat has arrived, and your body knows. It needs cool drinks, ones that require no effort. That’s why today we bring you one with a lot of history, the Ramazzotti Spritz.

This well-known cocktail has its origin in 1815, in Milan, like many of the best-known combinations that have emerged for centuries in the Italian city.

Aussano Ramazzotti, an apothecary, created it. After many mixtures, he obtained the perfect formula. The peel of sweet oranges, gentian, turmeric, rhubarb…  a total of 33 spices for a recipe that has been kept secret generation after generation.
A bitter which, combined with other drinks, conquered all palates and became a symbol of a new lifestyle.

The family went on to develop the Aperitivo Rosato, the base for our cocktail today, the Ramazzotti Spritz.

Its ingredients are intoxicating, hibiscus flower and orange blossom which tempts everyone. An intense pink colour and floral aromas, the ideal combination for different mixtures. But the one I bring you today is the one that combines with sparkling wine because we love wine!

It is simple to make. All you need is:

  • 50 ml de Ramazzoti Rosado.
  • 50 ml sparkling wine
  • 25 ml sparkling water
  • 1 slice of orange

All of these in a large glass with lots of ice and it`s ready for you to enjoy.

As we know that you like using your imagination, don`t hesitate to give it your personal touch:

 -    Play around with the sparkling wine: as you know, there is great diversity in sparkling wines depending on their origin, Champagne, Cava, Cremant… Find your style, the grape and the terroir will give you different nuances depending on the region.

Explore the diversity of sparkling wines depending on the residual sugar they contain, from the driest, which are ideal for those looking for a fresh aperitif, to the sweetest which give you that fruity and smooth part ideal as an after-dinner drink.

-    Have fun with fruit, try out the ones in season and give it a personal touch, from the traditional orange proposed by the original recipe to the blueberries, strawberries, yuzu…

Our proposal today is vegan, since no animal product is used in its preparation, gluten free, and the alcohol strength is only 15%, which can be regulated depending on the mixture you decide to prepare.

So, now you know. Have fun with your wine, even in a cocktail!
