The bathroom is one of the rooms in the house that requires the most cleaning and disinfection and also one of the ones that needs a wider variety of products and utensils because of the different surfaces and types of dirt.
If, during the cleaning process, drying the surfaces is a basic requirement, it becomes even more important in the bathroom. The humidity, which is normal in bathrooms and toilets, is the perfect breeding ground for many micro-organisms. To prevent their appearance, we should use ventilation, wherever possible, and dry surfaces properly after cleaning and disinfecting them. We offer you some basic tips so you can clean quickly and effectively with the right products.

How to use cleaning products
The bathroom is a potential source of germs so we recommend that the products used for cleaning it are used exclusively for this space. A solution to ensure they don't get mixed up with others is to store the specific products in the bathroom itself, but the most common option is to separate the cloths for each room or surface by colour. For example, red cloths are only used for the toilet.
The usual cleaning process is based on the following 4 steps:
- Start by disinfecting the toilet with bleach or disinfectant. Remember to wear gloves and use a toilet brush.
- Remove the limescale from the sink, shower or bathtub, taps and marble. Continue with the shower screen and mirrors.
- Change the towels and sponges and wash them using a quality detergent and a dash of disinfectant.
- Brush and then mop the floor with water and a few drops of detergent.
