Organic cleaning products: how to recognise them
Body

Do you know which organic products cannot be missing from your kitchen and cleaning cabinet? Do not lose sight of this post because, from now on, you will be able to commit to a more natural and environmentally friendly way of cleaning.

How to recognise organic cleaning products

The first thing to bear in mind is that an organic product uses natural surfactants, i.e., products obtained directly from plant extracts, extracted using environmentally friendly techniques and that benefit human health. They are made with harmless substances, or at least as harmless as possible. The ingredients of an organic cleaning product must be biodegradable.

You will recognise these products easily on the supermarket shelf thanks to the approved labels they carry. Therefore, make sure they carry these two labels:

  • he European Ecolabel: this evaluates the environmental effects of a product throughout its life through a thorough control. It is only awarded to those products that meet the demanding requirements of functionality and environmental quality.
  • Biodegradable and compostable packaging.
