If there is one thing that has been made obvious this season it has to be that metallic shades are all the rage. Gold, silver, bronze... all of them with a lot of shine are perfect allies this autumn/winter season.

How to do simple makeup for Christmas Eve?

Simple makeup doesn’t mean no makeup. The glowing skin effect came into fashion a couple of seasons ago. In fact, the clean, juicy face played a prominent role on the autumn/winter 23/24 catwalks recently. This will be the basis for our makeup this Christmas, and particularly on Christmas Eve.
We will start by treating and caring for our skin by cleaning and hydrating it. When our skin is ready, we will apply a little primer to help even out our skin and close pores.
To choose the foundation and achieve that glow look, avoid thicker foundations. Use lighter ones that do not cover your skin as much.
Then apply a little corrector to the corner of your eyes and on the bags under your eyes, dabbing it on to set it in place.
It’s now time to do our eyes. As we want to give a festive touch to our makeup, we could choose a metallic eyeshadow with shine, applying it to the moving part of our eyelid and fading it out further up. Then use a black eyeliner on the moving part of our eyelid next to our eye lashes, followed by some mascara.
For a perfect finish, apply a touch of highlighter to your cheekbones and around the corner of your eyes using your fingers, and also under the arch of your eyebrows.
We then move on to applying some blusher, but we will need to take care because if we don’t apply it properly, we could ruin our look. If we want to make a flush look, we should apply it with our fingers working upwards from our cheekbone to our temple. If we prefer a more “tanned” look, we can apply it in a “V” shape, drawing the line from our cheekbone to our nose on both sides of our face.
We then finish off our look with our lips. Red, maroon, cherry red, grape colour... Any shade in this range of colours can’t go wrong, and it will be a safe bet to take your Christmas look to a whole new level. Choose the lipstick colour according to your skin tone, but within that colour range. You’ll be sure to hit it off!

Eye makeup ideas: ideal for Christmas Eve

For a bolder look, we are proposing more daring eye makeup for these festivities.
Eyeliner is in fashion, and there are several different types on today’s market that will help us better outline our eyes. From the more classic eyeliner to the more modern double, cat eye, underline liners. So, to achieve an “in” look, line your eyes in a different colour to black, to give a fantasy touch to your look.
Use glitter eyeshadow in metallic shades and add some gems or stickers for a festival look, but without going over the top.
