What products will you need?
Quick makeup is characterised by using just a few cosmetics, and if we want to achieve a “nice face effect” suitable for an everyday look, we won’t really need much else. Take note of the indispensable products for your makeup bag!
- A makeup foundation suitable for your skin, or if you prefer a lighter foundation that covers less, you can use a bb cream.
- Corrector: an absolute must if you have dark bags under your eyes.
- Cream blusher: as it is more practical than powder blusher, and it lasts longer too.
- Highlighter: since highlighter became fashionable some years ago, it has become an indispensable part of our makeup routine because of its versatility, and its good results.
- Mascara: well made-up eyelashes will always enhance your face and look.
- Lipstick: wearing lipstick of a colour that suits us can always help to get us out of a tight spot, whether it is nude pink or bright scarlet. A good lipstick combined with mascara make the perfect combination!
Makeup, step by step
1. Chose a liquid foundation
If we want quick, everyday makeup, it is always best to choose a liquid foundation because it has a more natural finish. If you want to achieve a natural look, leave the foundation out and choose a corrector for the bags under your eyes.
2. Apply cream blusher
All faces are different and therefore there is an optimum way to apply blusher to each face, but one thing we all have in common is that we need to apply a little colour just above our cheeks and blend it outwards.
3. Highlighter (a subdued colour)
Is a great ally in our makeup bag, since we can use it on several parts of our face such as our cheekbones, just under our eyebrows, on our nose and around our tear gland.
4. Mascara
Along with corrector, this is one of the easiest ways to achieve a great affect to enhance our look. Remember to apply it in a zig-zag movement to lengthen your eyebrows as much as possible and avoid any unsightly lumps.
5. Lipstick
This is the final step in our beauty routine, and lipstick really can make all the difference! Depending on the colour we use (if we do decide to apply makeup on our lips), we can give our face a different look.
