The car can become a real focus of infection as it has many nooks and crannies. We will tell you the steps to disinfect it.
If you are one of those who have had to use the car these days to go to work, to do the shopping or for some other need, remember that your car must also be kept clean and well disinfected.

Products that contain at least 70% alcohol.

How to disinfect the interior of the car?
-
As we have said before, we can make a mixture of soap and water, ensuring we use the right measures and not adding too much soap to avoid leaving stains or marks.
-
We will take a cloth or duster, moisten it with the mixture of soap and water, or with the alcohol solution, and we will rub all the surfaces of the vehicle.
-
It is important to have another bowl of clean water to rinse the cloth each time, and for the soap and water mixture or alcohol solution not to get dirty.
-
For upholstery, it is best to use specific upholstery products that we can find in our supermarkets and follow the manufacturers' instructions for use.
-
If you suspect that you have carried someone infected with Covid-19, do not forget to disinfect the air conditioning system. For this, you must use specific products for this type of cleaning and allow the ducts to be sanitised. Then we must ventilate the vehicle.
-
And remember that, while you are cleaning the car you must not touch your face if your hands are not clean. Once you have finished, wash your hands with plenty of soap and water, and change the clothes you have worn during the process including your shoes.
What should we not do?
-
We cannot use bleach or hydrogen peroxide on the inside because it will damage the materials.
-
We will not use ammonia-based cleaners on the screens either, as they can damage the anti-reflective or anti-fingerprint material they are made of.
