How to clean an Italian coffee maker
To clean your Italian coffee maker, fill the water compartment with a combination of 3 parts water and one part vinegar, without obstructing the valve. Fit the filter and the upper part of the coffee maker. Put it on the heat and let it boil until the mixture evaporates and reaches the top of the coffee maker.
To clean the inside, let the coffee maker cool down and use a steel wool scourer to rub it. Thoroughly clean both parts of the coffee maker by removing any residues and rinse it.
To clean the base, rub it with a steel wool scourer and a little soap, making circular movements.
It is very important to always keep the valve and filter clean. The quality of the coffee will depend on it. If the filter is not clean, it will draw with it any accumulated impurities. A simple clean after each use will help to prevent this from happening.
Make your coffee better every day!
