The first thing we need to do if those symptoms appear is to visit a specialist in dermatology or trichology for a proper diagnosis. 
In milder cases, good hair and scalp hygiene will probably be sufficient, using the right, specific shampoos to avoid desquamation of the scalp. 
Specialists in this field recommend washing your hair once a day with lukewarm water, allowing the shampoo to work on your scalp for 2 to 3 minutes so that the active ingredients take effect. 
They also recommend avoiding more aggressive hair styling products, or any containing silicones, since this substance smothers our scalp and can favour the appearance of dandruff. 
We should avoid using dry shampoo since it tends to contain drying agents. 
If we also have greasy hair, we need to deal with this specifically, without resorting to shampoos that dry out our scalp too much. We should preferably look for shampoos that regulate and balance it. 
Likewise, to keep our hair healthy, we should pay attention to our diet. We should eat foods that are rich in Vitamin B6, Vitamin E and Vitamin A.
