The best shampoo for dry hair
Dry hair tends to be coarse and rather brittle.
The ends are susceptible to splitting and this type of hair lacks shine. Dry hair in men can be due to many different causes, including hot water, drying methods, a dry climate, excessive washing and frequent use of aggressive soap, among others.
Therefore, when looking for specific men's shampoo for this type of hair, we should pay attention to the ingredients to make sure it contains hydrating products such as argan oil, coconut oil, shea butter and vitamin E. All these ingredients will help to nourish and soften dry hair.
There are many shampoos on the market for this type of hair that will help your hair to recover its natural shine and health. The best shampoos are designed to provide the hydration and nourishment that our hair needs to look bright and healthy.

The best shampoo for greasy hair
This type of men’s hair is particularly unsightly because their hair is often shorter and it is therefore more visibly, greasy, unhealthy looking and lank.
Possible causes of greasy hair are stress, poor hygiene, pollution, deficient diet or hormonal changes, among other factors that cause the sebaceous glands of the scalp and skin to produce the natural oil in the scalp known as sebum.
With the right care, we can control these factors and recover healthy-looking hair. Specific shampoos are available for this type of hair that regulate excess oil and help us keep a healthy scalp and hair. They usually contain ingredients such as zinc or selenium which both help to regulate sebum production. Moreover, some shampoos for greasy hair contain ingredients to exfoliate our scalp and get rid of dead skin cells that can contribute to an excessive production of oil.
The best anti-dandruff shampoo for men
Dandruff is a common condition of the scalp, consisting of visible white flakes on the skin caused by excessive flaking of the scalp. Dandruff can be dry or oily.
Dry dandruff is caused by using very aggressive shampoo or other hair products. We recommend always using very mild anti-dandruff shampoo to get rid of this type of dandruff.
Oily dandruff on the other hand, is mainly caused by excessive sebum or the proliferation of microscopic fungi, such as the fungus called Pityrosporum ovale, which lives naturally in hair follicles. When our scalp is excessively greasy, the fungi multiply and cause an inflammation, which in turn leads to flaking of the skin. In this case, we recommend micro-exfoliation treatment of the scalp, using (keratolytic) shampoo with exfoliating properties to loosen the flakes, in conjunction with an anti-fungal product to help tackle excessive reproduction of the fungi that causes inflammation.
It is important to highlight that we should allow the anti-dandruff shampoo to work for at least 5 minutes on our scalp for the best results.
