We are celebrating our 50th anniversary this year, and we’ve made a huge cake for all our customers. As we know that we, along with our pets, are the best cooperative, there was no way we could leave them out of this celebration. So pay attention, because we are going to provide you with some very special recipes, just for them.

Mini healthy cake for dogs (2-3 medium portions)

Natural ingredients for a dog cake

 

  • 1 cup (200 grams) of finely grated carrot
  • 2 free-range eggs
  • 3 spoonfuls of lactose-free plain yoghurt (without added sugar or sweetener)
  • 1 cup (100 grams) of oat flour
  • 1 cup (100 grams) of mineral water
     

How to make a homemade cake for your dog

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC and line a square baking tray 20x20 cm with baking paper.
  2. Beat the eggs in a bowl until they are frothy.
  3. Add the lactose-free yoghurt and mix well.
  4. Sieve the oat flour, then add it along with the grated carrot and water.
  5. Pour the mixture into a small mould (around 12 cm diameter, or individual muffin moulds).
  6. Bake for between 20-25 minutes if you make small portions, or 30-35 minutes if you make larger ones.
  7. Test it with a knife. It should come out clean.
  8. Topping: 2 spoonfuls of lactose-free plain yoghurt or a can of dog food. 
  9. Allow to cool completely before giving them to your dog.
     

 

 

Mini sardines cake for cats

Ingredients for a mini sardine cake

 

  • 1 small tin of sardines in olive oil (drain a little so they are not too oily)
  • 1 cup (200 grams) of finely grated carrot
  • 2 free-range eggs
  • 1 spoonful of coconut oil
  • 2 spoonfuls of lactose-free plain yoghurt (without added sugar or sweetener)
  • 1 cup (100 grams) of oat flour
  • 1 cup (100 grams) of mineral water
  • Topping: A small layer of pumpkin paste or a little cat food.

  • ½ cup of carrot purée
  • ½ cup of pumpkin purée
  • 2 spoonfuls of ground hay (it can be same type you usually give to your rabbit)

  • Thin slices of carrot (optional)

 

How to make a mini cake for rabbits

 

  1. Mix the carrot and pumpkin purées with the ground hay to make a thick dough.
  2. Place the mixture in a small mould and press lightly. It does not need baking.
  3. Decorate with slices of carrot and then serve.
     

A natural, colourful choice, rich in fibre and perfect to spoil your rabbits with a healthy nibble.

Homemade cake for birds

 

  • ¼ cup of wholemeal flour (or ground oats)
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2 spoonfuls of carrot or pumpkin purée
  • 1 teaspoon of seeds that you usually give your bird
  • 1 teaspoon of grated apple

 

Delicious recipe for a mini cake for birds

 

  1. Mix all the ingredients together to make a thick paste.
  2. Place in a small mould and bake at 160ºC for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool and decorate with your pet's favourite fresh fruit (without seeds).

 

It is important to bear in mind that these recipes are not suitable for pets with allergies or if they do not tolerate any of the ingredients. You should feed them according to their weight. Furthermore, they are not a substitute for their usual diet and feeding them these recipes every day is not recommended. 

We know your pet is your best cooperative, and that is why there is no better way to celebrate our anniversary than with them.
