Some benefits you didn't know about taking turkey
Turkey meat is composed of almost 80% water and, like other meats, it is rich in protein of high biological value and contains no carbohydrates. Moreover, turkey is part of the group of lean meats and, as it is low in fat, it is ideal for weight reduction diets. The greatest proportion of fat is found in the skin. This type of meat is rich in B group vitamins, such as B3, B6 and B12, which help the proper functioning of the immune system.
As with all lean meats, the Spanish Nutritional Foundation recommends eating turkey 3 times a week and alternating it with other types of meat.
