Swordfish

Swordfish belongs to the Xiphiidae family . It is a large oily fish with a robust and elongated body. The skin on its back is dark blue with light stripes and various reflections in bronze tones. Its belly is silver in colour.

The main characteristic of the swordfish is its snout, which is very long and ends in a sword-shaped prominence.

This fish has a sickle-shaped caudal fin, a caudal pendulum with a crest on each side, and two pectoral, two dorsal and two anal fins.
