Quince
Quince is the fruit of the quince tree, belonging to the Rosaceae family. While the fruit is immature, its skin is green and has a dense light gray hair, which is lost once it has matured. When this fruit is ready to be harvested, it has a yellow skin and a very aromatic hard pulp.
This fruit is native to Southwest Asia, but today we can find quince crops in different parts of the world. The quince season in our country is very short, since it takes place between the months of August and September. However, sometimes we can also enjoy this fruit late in the months of July and October.
