Mulberry
The blackberry is the berry fruit of the mulberry tree, a tree that belongs to the Rosaceae family. This fruit, which is made up of glomeruli, has a globular appearance and its color varies as it matures, thus indicating the optimal time for harvesting.
Blackberries are born greenish-white that transitions to a beautiful bright red, eventually turning into deep purple berries.
The color of the blackberry also varies depending on its variety. In the market we can find two types of blackberries: morus alba (white, larger and sweeter blackberries) and morus nigra (black and more acid blackberries).

Some benefits you didn't know about taking mulberry
One of the mulberry’s notable properties is its low energy value, high fibre and folate content and high content of vitamins from groups C and E, which help to prevent ageing thanks to their antioxidant power.
In addition to their vitamin content, they also stand out for their quantity of natural pigments such as anthocyanosides and carotenoids, which contribute to antioxidant action.
Mulberries also contain organic acids such as oxalic or malic acid. Blackberries are rich in calcium, potassium and fibre, like the other wild berries, so they aid intestinal transit.
