Grape
The grape is the fruit of life, a climbing shrub of the Vitaceae family. This berry fruit grows together with others forming grouped clusters; its appearance is small, round and covered by a very thin skin whose color can vary depending on the type of grape. This skin surrounds a pulp with a very sweet and juicy flavor that contains a small seed inside.
The grape is a fruit native to the Caucasus. Currently its use and cultivation is widespread throughout the world, especially in Europe, both for raw consumption and for winemaking. Today we can find grapes from mid-summer to early winter, and the harvest of this fruit is done from mid-September to the end of November.

The nutrients of grapes can vary depending on the variety. Grapes are high in water and, in general, their carbohydrate content is higher than other fruits due to the composition of sugars.
Grapes are rich in folates and phytonutrients, although they are also rich in phenolics such as stilbenes and flavonoids. The minerals this fruit contains include calcium, magnesium, phosphorous and, to a larger extent, potassium.
