Beetroot

Beetroot is the deep, large and fleshy root that grows on the plant of the same name and which forms part of the Chenopodioideae family. It is a round and spherical root, the skin on top is fine and soft and can be different colours, from pinkish violet and reddish orange to brown.

Its pulp tastes sweet and is usually a dark crimson red colour with purple hues and, sometimes, it can have concentric circles inside.
