Consum's Sustainability Policy
Sustainability in Consum arises from its cooperative values - values closely linked to sustainable development, i.e., the balance between economic growth, people's well-being and the preservation of the environment.

-
Promoting partnerships in sustainability.
-
Providing mechanisms for stakeholder participation.
-
Integrating stakeholder expectations into the Cooperative's strategy, thus creating long-term shared value.
Consum implements the Sustainability Policy in management through its Sustainability Strategies. The new strategy has been developed as a result of the cooperative's most ambitious participatory process to date, involving the collaboration of all stakeholders.
The 2021-2025 Sustainability Strategy integrates the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the Cooperative's sustainability objectives, thus contributing to the achievement of these global goals via the development of an ambitious company-specific strategy, committed to redoubling the efforts made to achieve them. It is composed of ten strands of action, based on the values of the cooperative movement and united by a single purpose: to make your shopping more sustainable.
